Composer Biographies -

George Kiorpes, a native of Yonkers, New York, is a professor of piano at the School of Music, University of North Carolina in Greensboro. He received his bachelor's and master's degrees in music from Peabody Conservatory, and a doctorate in musical arts from Boston University. He studied composition with Henry Cowell and piano with Frederick Petrich, Austin Conradi and Béla Nagy.
