Composer Biographies -

Rosemary Hughey is currently active as a teacher of piano and theory in her music studio in Carrollton, Texas. Her studio consists of over 70 students, ages 5 through adult. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, Ms. Hughey is married and the mother of 4 grown children. She has lived in the Dallas area since 1980. Her educational background includes studies at the University of North Texas with a master's degree in music education, focus on piano. Her training includes studies at the University of Houston and the University of Dallas in Kindermusik, and Kodaly training at the University of North Texas. She has been a church pianist, organist, and children's choir director in Dallas and she has also taught music in grades K through 6 in a private school.
